VIU’s Got Talent is an exciting annual showcase that celebrates the creativity, passion, and diverse talents of Vancouver Island University’s students and faculty. From music and dance to comedy, spoken word, and unique hidden talents, the event gives members of the VIU community a chance to take the spotlight and share what they do best.
The journey begins with video auditions, where aspiring performers submit clips showcasing their talents. Selected contestants will then earn their place on the VIU’s Got Talent stage, performing live in front of an enthusiastic audience and a panel of judges.
During the finals, each contestant will have 8–10 minutes to captivate the crowd and impress the judges with their performance. At the end of the show, the judges will select the top three performances, with winners receiving exciting prizes and recognition for their outstanding talent. The top performer will take home a $500 grand prize!
Whether you're stepping onto the stage or cheering from the audience, VIU’s Got Talent is a celebration of creativity, courage, and the incredible talent within the VIU community, with $500 and bragging rights on the line!
