Join us for the VIU Naloxone Training Workshop at Shq’apthut – A Gathering Place! This in-person session will teach you how to safely administer naloxone and potentially save a life. This event is open to VIU Students and Employees.
Co-facilitated by the First Nations Health Authority, Island Health, and VIU, the workshop will highlight the impact of the Toxic Drug Crisis on Indigenous communities and emphasize the importance of Indigenous supports.
Following the training, the staff at Shq’apthut have generously offered to provide lunch for all participants. Don’t miss this chance to gain life-saving skills and knowledge.
