We’re back at school and back on the pitch! VIU’s 2025 home opening weekend continues on Sunday, September 7 as the VIU Mariners varsity men's and women's teams battle the Douglas College Royals (New Westminster, BC) in Nanaimo.
Join us at the field and make some noise in support of our student-athletes! Admission is free and great Mariners soccer action is guaranteed--a tradition going back more than 50 years.
- Where: Q'unq'inuqwstuxw Stadium (NDSS Turf)
- Note: areas around the stadium are under construction. Please consider walking from VIU or parking at the Nanaimo Ice Centre
- When: Women's game at 12:30 pm and men's game at 3 pm
