The 2024 Canadian collegiate soccer season kicks off on Saturday, September 7 as the VIU Mariners varsity men's and women's teams welcome the Langara College Falcons (Vancouver, BC) to Nanaimo!
Wear blue and black and be ready to make some noise in support of the Mariners as our teams begin a new PACWEST conference season. Cheer them on towards the top of the league and enjoy some of best varsity soccer action in the country. We'll also be celebrating VIU soccer alumni throughout this home opening weekend.
- Where: Beban Park Turf Fields
- Who and when: women's game at 12:30 pm; men's game at 3 pm
- Free admission for all
