The spring semester kicks off with a gigantic basketball weekend as the Mariners host the Columbia Bible College Bearcats (Abbotsford, BC).
On the women’s side, this pits the reigning conference champion Mariners against the reigning national champion Bearcats. The men’s matchup features two of the top offences in the province, so we’re expecting plenty of big buckets!
Admission is free for all VIU students. Two lucky fans will win DQ Blizzards and be recognized as our Country Club Dairy Queen Fans of the Game. VIU students can also enter an end-of-the-season draw for a 70-inch television from Andre’s Electronic Experts.
VIU employees and their immediate family members get free admission at Saturday regular season home games at the VIU Gym. Please present your employee ID card at the gym's front desk.
