VIU Horticulture Spring Plant Sale 2025
We are heading towards Spring, and it will soon be time to order your baskets!
The students in the Horticulture Technician Foundation Program have been busy growing our ornamental and edible hanging basket crop again this year.
Be sure to follow our Instagram #VIUHorticulture to get updates on our crop and watch the baskets start to bloom!
The Sale will be held at the G.R. Paine Centre on Saturday, April 26th.
Our Pre-Order Web form will be available at the end of March.

Spring Offerings
13” Sun Hanging Basket – A beautiful mix of student-grown annual plants that love the sun. We recommend this basket for spaces that get afternoon sun exposure; morning shade is appropriate.
13” Shade Hanging Basket – A lovely mix of student-grown shade-loving plants that will still bring lots of color and interest to your home. We recommend this basket for spaces with afternoon shade and less intense morning sun is also appropriate.
10” Herb Hanging Basket – An aromatic collection of culinary plants that will spruce up all your dishes through the summer. These baskets prefer sunny locations.
10” Strawberry Hanging Basket – A delicious collection of ever-bearing strawberry plants that will be sure to provide tasty treats throughout the entire summer. These baskets prefer sunny locations.
