New student orientation takes place from August 26 to 29. If you have a summer job that is ending just in time for classes to start and can only attend one day, we suggest planning to be on campus on August 28 for the Ultimate RockVIU Experience. This includes:
- Welcome for Indigenous students: 9 to 10 am
- Faculty Block Party Socials – Meet your faculty, classmates and deans: 10 am to 12 pm
- Connect Fair and Community Corner – Enjoy games, food and snacks while discovering student services, meeting community members and getting the chance to Dunk Your Dean: 12 to 4 pm
