In honour of Transgender Awareness week, Positive Space Alliance has organized to raise the Trans flag on all VIU campuses, on November 13. On Wednesday, November 20, Transgender Day of Remembrance, the Trans flag will be lowered to half-mast. Please visit the Quad, at the Nanaimo campus, to participate in a vigil and in action that acknowledges Trans lives lost.
