Join us Monday, March 11 at 12 pm at VIU Library in Nanaimo for a lively discussion with Dr. Marni Stanley about the graphic narrative genre. She generously donated a large collection of titles to VIU Library earlier this year covering gender, health, autobiography, and 2SLGBTQ+ Studies.
This is an important, progressive and relatively rare corpus of material within the academic library context, and is one of the most valuable in-kind donations ever received by VIU Library. The collection can be found on the main floor of the Library just past the service desk.
Dr. Stanley is the retired Dean of Arts and Humanities and a former professor at VIU and we are thrilled to welcome her back to campus.
