Prepare to embark on a one-of-a-kind tasting journey featuring 18 interactive culinary stations, where members of Culinary Team Canada will be joined by five acclaimed chefs from across Vancouver Island and British Columbia, including culinary leaders from Kingfisher Pacific Resort & Spa, Quails' Gate Winery, Sooke Harbour House, Tigh-na-Mara, Camas and Nanoose Bay Cafe. Alongside talented VIU Culinary Arts students, these rising chefs will create an extraordinary evening of flavours, innovation and culinary artistry. From inventive small plates to remarkable signature creations, every station will offer something new to discover. Your ticket also includes a selection of premium refreshments, including spirit-free beverages and curated wine and whisky tastings.
At its heart, Rising Tides, Rising Chefs is a celebration of the people behind the plate. Proceeds from this event will help create opportunities for VIU Culinary Arts students and Culinary Team Canada as they prepare to compete at the RAK Porcelain Culinary World Cup. Proceeds will also provide aspiring and accomplished chefs with the resources, training and experiences they need to continue developing their craft.
