Presented by the Nanaimo Foundation in partnership with the Canadian Alcohol Use Disorder Society, United Way and Island Health, the afternoon will feature a screening of Smashed: Breaking the Cycle of Alcohol Use Disorder, followed by a facilitated panel discussion with local doctors and lived experience voices. The conversation will explore alcohol use, its impact in our community, and pathways to support and care.
