Naloxone Trainer Workshop

This workshop prepares participants to deliver naloxone and overdose response education to groups and at events on campus.

Participation in this training requires becoming part of the VIU Naloxone Trainers pool and being added to the official list of trainers. Trainers may be called upon to assist with providing naloxone education and overdose response training at VIU events or internal on-campus workshops.

By joining the trainer pool, participants support harm-reduction education and contribute to safer campus communities.

This workshop is facilitated by Island Health Harm Reduction and trainers will receive an Island Health Certificate of Completion following the workshop.
