Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course

Participating in MBSR can help reduce stress, lower anxiety and live with greater ease. MBSR was developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and is the gold standard of evidence based mindfulness training. This 8 week course will be taught online via Zoom by Dr. Patricia O'Hagan. The course includes guided mindful practices to cultivate self-awareness and attend to habitual reactivity patterns, responding rather reacting. Teacher-led instruction in mindfulness meditation practices; Exercises to improve awareness in everyday life; Interactive learning with group dialogue and mindful communication. Daily at-home assignments, reading materials and links to guided audio meditations.
