Get ready for MARINER MANIA: our VIU Mariners season opening celebration!
Make some noise with fellow fans to welcome our VIU Mariners soccer teams to home turf for the first time in the 2026 season! Check out the new expanded bleacher seating at Q'unq'inuqwstuxw Stadium—a four-minute walk from campus—and cheer on the Mariners as they take on the Douglas College Royals. With halftime games, prizes, concession, and varsity spirit, Mariner Mania features the best sports vibe in the city!

- When: Women's game at 12:30 pm and men's game at 3 pm

- The celebration continues with a post-game Mariner Mania Night at Old City Station Pub (must be 19+ to attend)
