Over two nights, the studio stage will light up with a series of six short-plays brought to life by student artists. The plays are all original works written and submitted into the festival by creative writing students. Event Details 6:30pm - Doors Open 7:00pm - Show Commences Tickets are by donation and can be pre-purchased or available at the door, subject to availability and limited seating. One Acts Life is Ridiculous Written by Hannah Macza A 10 minute play about the ridiculousness of writing a 10 minute play. Time Flies Written by Ali Dillon - Cardinal Two teens build a time machine and test it on their younger brother and lose him. After following in hopes of finding him, they discover the mistakes they have made. Morsel Infidelity by Chris Carter After learning that her husband is cheating on her, Susan uses the powers of her ancestors to enact revenge from Morris's horrible deeds Organ Failure Written by Jayson Jaskeran After receiving word that their human is dying, some of the body’s most prominent organs call a meeting in hopes of finding the culprit. A Ghostly Good Time Written by Emmilly Benson Two friends explore an abandoned butcher shop in hopes of discovering a ghost but find something much more sinister is at hand. Gael Written by Adrien Kennedy Stuck in between what may be life and death, Gael is forced to reflect on his past actions and views on life in order to determine his fate. Trigger Warnings Depiction of the dark side of mental health and the topic of suicide, blood.
