November 20 2024, 11 am - 4 pm
Human Resources and Health and Safety, in partnership with the Superstore Pharmacy, is offering a walk-in Flu and COVID Shot Clinic on Wednesday, November 20 from 11 am to 4 pm in the cafeteria (Building 300). The clinic will also offer other public covered vaccines such as Gardasil and Tetanus.
Things to Consider:
- The vaccination is given in the upper arm (shoulder), so clothing worn should easily expose this area (i.e. loose-fitting sleeves or short sleeves).
- The process should only take about 15 minutes. If you are currently suffering from a cold, fever or flu or any other respiratory illness, postpone receiving this vaccination until a later date.
- Allergies: If you are allergic to eggs, consult your doctor prior to receiving the flu vaccine as it could cause an allergic reaction. For more information on the vaccine offered at this clinic and on immunizations, please visit ImmunizeBC and Health Canada's information about the flu.
