Join us for a special screening of Lii Michif Niiyanaan: We Are Métis, a documentary that explores the historical and contemporary experiences of Métis people in Canada. This film highlights the courage, determination, and resilient spirit of the Métis nation, and invites all Canadians to embrace the richness of their shared history. Organized by the Canadian Mental Health Association Cowichan Valley, the screening will take place at the VIU Cowichan Campus Lecture Theatre on October 24, 2024, at 7:00 PM, followed by a Q&A session with the producers.
