The latest edition of the Engaged Citizens Speaker Series looks at the future of the Salish Sea and importance of protecting Pacific herring. Our featured speaker is Bryce Casavant, Director of Conservation Intelligence with Pacific Wild. His presentation, Fighting Fish: herring/fisheries management in the context of Canadian laws, will be followed by a question-and-answer period with the audience. About our speaker Bryce is a veteran and former BC Conservation Officer who grew up on Vancouver Island. Bryce previously worked with Pacific Wild as the Senior Policy Analyst and has now re-joined the team as the Director of Conservation Intelligence. Bryce has a passion for investigating government non-compliances and environmental crime and has over twenty years of experience working with NGOs and environmental legal teams.
