In addition to paper sessions, the conference will also feature a methodological workshop and involvement of child and youth participants. This will be a hybrid conference, held in person on and hosted virtually from Vancouver Island University's Nanaimo campus, 10-12 June 2022. We are excited to welcome participants from North America, Europe, South America, Africa, and Australia, with presentations rooted in environmental humanities, childhood studies, participatory research with young people, education, ethnomusicology, and ecocritical study of children’s and young people’s literature.
