Learn how to advocate for your needs, understand university policies and procedures, communicate concerns about barriers to access, and explore your options when accommodations aren't meeting your needs.
This session will provide practical tools and resources to help students confidently navigate challenges and advocate for a more accessible educational experience. It will be structured as a 30-minute presentation with 30-minutes for Q&A and discussion.
This session is open to any current VIU student. This session will be offered twice to support access and accommodate different schedules. If you cannot make it to this session, we hope you can join us on October 29th at 4pm.
